Heritage Oak Bracing Pack & Lock Block for Ledged Doors up to 2'9"

Supplied loose so the oak bracing pack can be installed the preferred way in a property. The bracing pack works together with most oak ledged doors and can give a more rustic/aged feel to ledged doors, however, there is no structural requirement for this.

Lock blocks are generally used in connection with door handles. The use of an oak lock block prevents from having to cut into an architrave set and/or door frame. The block gives you the 40mm thickness on an otherwise 20mm thick door, a latch protrudes less than it would without a lock block.

Bracing packs are manufactured from using European oak which is mainly sourced from France. The timber used is a rustic grade oak meaning that knots/splits, cracks & colour variation can be present within the boards. The oak is kiln dried to a low moisture content before it arrives in the UK, to remove anything live that may be present in the timber and to ensure the timber is dry enough for use in the home.
