Delivery Charges

All orders placed online are subject to the following delivery charges:

Free Delivery on Orders Over £250
We currently have a promotion for free delivery on all online orders over £250 including VAT. This offer excludes any ‘Custom Delivery’ charges. More details on Custom Delivery Charges can be found below.

Standard Delivery: £10 inc VAT
This is our standard delivery charge and covers all postcodes within our standard delivery area.

Big & Bulky Delivery: £20 inc VAT
Some of our products will have delivery restrictions based on their size or weight. Our Big & Bulky Delivery charge will cover the use of specialist vehicles or additional team members to deliver your order.

Custom Delivery: There may be items on our website that have a custom delivery charge, or minimum order values. These are highlighted on each product page and will be automatically calculated at checkout.

N.b. Additional charges may apply for deliveries with restricted access. Your local branch will contact you in the event of such circumstances prior to your delivery.

Your Delivery Day

Deliveries are allocated as ‘All Day’ Slots, between the hours of 7:30am – 4:30pm. Unfortunately, our team will be unable to provide details of a specific drop time, but our drivers will contact you when they are on route. Due to this, we recommend booking materials in for planned delivery date that is at least 24 hours before work starts. We do not accept any liability for works being delayed, providing goods have been delivered within our standard delivery window.

 

Meet our Driver

Our drivers will look out for you by knocking or ringing the bell of the delivery address when they arrive. We advise our customers to meet our delivery drivers to explain exactly where to deliver and to ensure that the items delivered are correct and in full. Our drivers will then get a signature upon receipt of delivery.

 

Kerb-side Delivery

We offer a kerb-side delivery service and will not drive onto private property, driveways or land without permission. We may require written permission to do so, in which case our driver will ask you to complete a form, but it is at the driver’s discretion as to what is deemed possible. We will always try to assist in carrying or placing your products in the ideal spot.

Restricted Access

Please let us know on checkout if there are any narrow lanes, low bridges, tight corners or any other access issues that may prevent our larger vehicles from getting to your site. While you may have only ordered a few items (e.g. small in size, weight or number of items) and wouldn’t expect a large lorry to deliver it, we often have lorries passing and try to be as efficient as possible. Reducing our carbon footprint and keeping the cost of delivery to a minimum.

Delivery Lead Times

We pride ourselves on the speed and efficiency of our delivery service. Average lead time on products will be indicated on each product page. Delivery times can be quicker or slower, depending on when we’re in your area next. Once you’ve placed your order online, you’ll be contacted by a member of our team within 24 hours (excluding weekends) to confirm an exact date for delivery. If you have any specific delivery instructions, please let us know.

Special Order Products

You’ll notice that some items on our website are listed as ‘Special Order’. This typically means that the item may be held at a specialist Robert Price branch or that the item may be coming direct from one of our suppliers. In such cases our lead time is typically 5-7 working days. However, you’ll be contacted by a member of our team to confirm an exact date for delivery following your order being placed.
