Cheaper to run, with lower carbon emissions and minimal maintenance requirements, heat pumps are a great alternative to fossil fuel heating systems – and are kinder to the environment. They work by extracting heat from the air, ground, or a water source providinga sustainable, energy-saving heating solution. However, they also require hot water storage, which could rob valuable space in any home.
