The Horizon Egress Easy Clean Friction Stay has an easy to operate, durable and reliable design. Designed to open initially to egress in one operation with Easy-clean is achieved by fully opening the window, pushing the button and simply pulling the sash. Closing the window simply resets the hinge. The high quality Stainless steel hinge has been designed for long life performance and available in two stack heights – 13mm and 17mm with adjustable friction to suit the individual weight of the window. The hinge is capable of meeting the requirements of BS 6375 as part of a compliant window system, meets the requirements of BS EN 13126-6:2008 and has been designed to meet the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Documents B Fire Safety 2006 edition in a window of appropriate dimensions. PAS 24:2012 security performance can be obtained in conjunction with a Hingeguard. The Hingeguard is designed to only engage when the window is under attack and prevents disengagement by supporting the friction hinge.
