Children’s park opens its gates with a little help from Robert Price

Robert Price was delighted to play our part in the “Swallow Park” community project last year, by donating two Charlton gates and accompanying accessories to the brand-new children’s play area.

The newly built park, which was founded and coordinated by the residents of Mitchel Troy, is located in the heart of Mitchel Troy village (near Monmouth) and provides a fun, safe place for children to play.

Ceri Jones group organiser and resident described how the idea came to life:

“The residents in the village felt that the children had nowhere safe to meet and play, and as our children all go to different schools, they barely knew each other.

“So, we all decided to pull our resources together and build a park for the children – somewhere they can play and call their own”

The local committee approached Robert Price in need of some gates to complete the project and secure the wonderful green space they had built.

The team at Robert Price was thrilled to be able to contribute to this project and support this local community in their venture.

Ceri added:

“It has been a very long journey but thanks to the wonderful network within Mitchel Troy, we have created a spectacular park for children and future generations of the village and surrounding areas.

“The park has a sign acknowledging the contribution made by local donors, including Robert Price, and the gate itself has a brass plaque dedicating Robert Price as the supplier.”

We’re so glad we could help!
